Robert Eugene 'Uncle Bob' Rowe, age 83, Joplin, passed away at 11:45 a.m. Monday, October 30, 2017 in Joplin.
Robert was born August 7, 1934 in Picher, Oklahoma and had lived in Tulsa and Joplin most of his life.
He graduated from N.E.O. with an Associate's Degree in Business Management. He was a member of the band and marched in the Rose Bowl Parade in Pasadena, California. Robert worked for Oil Marketers in Tulsa for several years as an office manager. He volunteered for the Joplin Senior Citizens Center and was a veteran of the United States Army.
Survivors include his sisters, Earline Holden and her husband, Claude, Ketchum, Oklahoma, Peggy Starling, Joplin, Linda Stewart and her husband, Earl, Joplin, Sharon Hale, Duenweg; ten nieces and nephews and several great nieces and nephews.
Services are planned for Saturday at 10:00 a.m. at Parker Mortuary Chapel. Rev. Karen Krokroskia will officiate. Interment will follow at Ozark Memorial Park Cemetery.
Arrangements are under the direction of Parker Mortuary.
