May Ann Smith, 70, of Columbus, Kansas passed away January 3, 2018 at her home. She was born August 13, 1947 in Joplin, Mo, daughter of Loyd Hunt, James Brand and Mary Brand.
Mary was a member of the Church of Nazarene in Columbus, Ks. She was a waitress and worked with the EVS department for St. John’s Hospital in Joplin, Mo for 10 years.
Survivors include May’s significant other, Butch Goden; daughter, Melissa Taylor and her significant other, David Dowling of Diamond, Mo; and beloved grandchildren, who May thought the world of, Kade and Kole Taylor.
May was preceded in death by her brothers, Dallas and Bill Hunt; parents, James and Mary Brand and Loyd Hunt.
Services will be 1:00 p.m. Monday, January 8, 2018 at Bath Naylor Funeral Home in Columbus, Ks. Burial will follow at Osborne Memorial Cemetery in Joplin, Mo.
