Rosalea Garritson of Miami, OK passed from this life on Friday, January 5, 2018 at Integris Miami Hospital in Miami, OK. She was 77.
Rosalea was born September 2, 1940 in Weir, KS to Raymond and Lola Lorene (Pallett) Magers. She had lived in the Commerce and Miami area most if her life. She owned and operated Rosalea's Beauty Shop in Commerce for many years. She was a member of Southeast Baptist Church in Commerce.
Rosalea was preceded in death by her husband, Edward Garritson on January 31, 1991. She was also preceded by her parents, her brother Johnnie Magers and her sister Colleen Hersh.
Survivors include her son, Edward Aaron "Goose" Garritson and wife Jana of Joplin, MO, her daughter, Debbie Dooley and husband Don of Coweta, OK, her sister, Bonnie Prince and husband Jerry of Shawnee, KS, 4 grandchildren, Court Dooley, Damyon Dooley, Lucas Garritson and Austin Garritson and 5 great-grandchildren, Camden Dooley, Cole Dooley, Laine Dooley, Kasen Dooley and Canon Dooley.
Funeral services will be 2:00 p.m. Friday, January 12, 2018 at Paul Thomas Funeral Home Chapel in Miami, OK with Rev. Howie Moss officiating. Interment will follow in G.A.R. Cemetery in Miami, OK with Rosalea's grandsons serving as pallbearers. Services have been placed in the care of Paul Thomas Funeral Home and Cremation Service of Miami, OK.
