Stormie Renee Chandler, age 24, Joplin, passed away on Saturday, November 3, 2018 at Freeman West in Joplin after a sudden illness.
Stormie was born January 26, 1994 in Tulsa, Oklahoma. She grew up in Joplin, graduating from Joplin High School, and then Vatterott College with a degree as a medical receptionist assistant. She worked several jobs at local restaurants while getting her degree. She was a devoted mother, and will be missed by many.
She was preceded in death by a son, Jonathan Ray Chandler; grandparents, Kendal Dudley, Glen Greening, great-grandmother, Juanita McCoy Dudley, great-grandfather, John Neil; and an uncle, Scott Greening.
Survivors include her mother, Jennifer Cloven of Joplin; her father, Justin Chandler of Webb City; daughters, Skylar Renee Banks, and Olivia Grace Banks; companion, Dakota Banks of Joplin, sister, Elizabeth Anna Chandler of Joplin; brothers, Brayden Chandler, Jaron Pellham, and Camden Chandler; soul sister, Larissa DeWeese of Joplin; grandparents, Sonya Terry and husband Rick of Webb City, Randy Ray and wife Lori of Noel, Missouri, Gail Greening of Neosho, June Points of Joplin; great-grandmother, Ruth Manes and husband Richard of Joplin; 9 aunts, 10 uncles, and 25 cousins.
Memorial service for Stormie and Jonathan will be Thursday, November 8, 2018 at 6:00 p.m. in Parker Mortuary Chapel with Papa Ricky officiating.
The ashes of Stormie and Jonathan will be buried at a later date.
Cremation arrangements are under the direction of Parker Mortuary.
