(From Parker Mortuary)Bettie England, 91, of Webb City, MO went to see the Lord on September 20, 2020. She entered this world on September 14, 1929 to proud parents, Mamie & William Lamb.
She was a homemaker who enjoyed baking, reading, singing, and working puzzles. The loves of her life were her husband of 50 years, her children, grandchildren, great grandchildren, and the Lord.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Lee England; 3 brothers, Charles Smith, Tommy Smith, & Bill Lamb; and sister, Margie Silvey.
She is survived by her 3 daughters, Linda Dick (Jim), Karen Elder (Mike), & Tana Kraus (Tim); 7 grandchildren, Melissa Bennett (Jeff), Brian Dick, Jamie Jones (Cory), Chris Tatum (Kara), Brooke Elder, Hunter Kraus, & Alexie Kraus; 3 great grandchildren, Madison Bennett, Gavin Madison, & Sadie Tatum; 2 sisters, Irene England & Bonnie Kittrell; and numerous nieces & nephews. Bettie was a blessing to her family & friends. She will be deeply missed.
Funeral services are 2:00 p.m. Wednesday, September 23, 2020 at 2:00 p.m. in the chapel of Parker Mortuary in Joplin, Missouri with Pastor Chad DeGonia officiating. Burial will follow in Osborne Memorial Cemetery.
Those honoring her life by serving as pallbearers are Richard Smith, John Lamb, Rick Smith, Brian Smith, Cory Jones and Jeff Bennett. The family will receive friends on Tuesday evening from 5-7:00 p.m. at the mortuary.
Arrangements are under the personal care and direction of Parker Mortuary in Joplin, Missouri.
