He was born February 4, 1931 in Eagle Rock, Missouri, the son of Edward and Lorena Margaret (Carter) Ball.
On July 6, 1951 in Eureka Springs, Arkansas he was united in marriage to Shirley May who survives.
Also surviving are one son, Mark Allen Ball of Cassville, Missouri; one daughter, Kathy Keene and her husband Wes of Cassville, Missouri; two brothers, Willis Ray Ball and his wife Betty of Carthage, Missouri and Eugene Ball of Eagle Rock, Missouri; two sisters, Georgia Hart and her husband Buddie of Eagle Rock, Missouri and Rosie Lee Ennis of Seligman, Missouri; five grandchildren, Holly Ann Rivera, Pelon Martinez, Benny Rivera, Clayton Daniel McCracken and Cristy McCracken and eight great grandchildren, Canyon Daniel McCracken, Kelby McCraty, Shena Garrett, Audrianna Danielle McCracken, Katia Knott, Michael Rivera, Marcus Rivera and Myia Rivera.
Preceding him in death were his parents; two brothers, Ellery and Ellis Ball and two sisters, Annabelle in infancy and Ettaree Louise Warren.
Lloyd grew up in Eagle Rock, Missouri where he received his education. For several years he was maintenance supervisor at the hospital in Cassville. In his early life he worked at Williamson Funeral Home. From in the 1960’s through 1970’s he owned Main Street Restaurant. He also did upholstery work. He was a member of Cassville First Baptist Church and had been song leader at Bible Baptist Church for thirty years.
Services will be held at 11:00 A.M. Thursday, September 24, 2020 at Cassville First Baptist Church under direction of Fohn Funeral Home in Cassville. Burial will be at Antioch Cemetery in Cassville.
The family will receive friends from 10:00 until service time Thursday at First Baptist Church in Cassville.
