Lillian Wayne Studdard was born August 6, 1924 in Violet Hill, Arkansas, the daughter of Walter W. and Fern V. (Cooper) Stone. She entered into rest on September 24, 2020 at her home, following two years of declining health at the age of 96.
Lillian moved to the Neosho in 1942 at the age of 18. She had worked at Pet Milk, IGA and was a homemaker. She enjoyed singing, quilting and sewing and doing crossword puzzles. She was a member of Fellowship Baptist Church.
Lillian married Elmer Studdard on December 4, 1943 and he preceded her in death in March of 2001. She is survived by a daughter, Willa Dean Linton of Neosho; grandchildren, Sheila (Jon) Reagan, Kelly Livers, Brian (Jennifer) Linton, Matthew Wayne Studdard and Amy Jones and great grandchildren, Paige Reagan, Peri Reagan, Brent (Katie) Layne, Brandon Layne and fiance' Colleen Nelson and Lina Livers and one sister, Lavaun (Dawn) Bushnell of Neosho.
In addition to her husband and parents, she is preceded in death by a daughter, Jeanie Dee Linton, a son, Larry Wayne Studdard and a brother, Thednal Stone.
