Bryan Boman

Mr. Bryan Dean Boman, 38, of Carl Junction, Missouri, departed this life on Thursday, September 10, 2020, while at Barnes Jewish Hospital in St. Louis, Missouri.

Bryan entered this life on April 11, 1982, in Joplin, Missouri, born to the union of Barry and Mary (Adamson) Boman. He was raised in Carl Junction, Missouri and was a 2001 graduate of Carl Junction High School. 

Following high school, Bryan served his county in the United States Navy. After receiving his honorable discharge, he returned home to Carl Junction. He was employed by TPN, LLC – men’s recovery facilities as client service manager. Bryan was currently on staff at St. Paul’s United Methodist Church in Carl Junction. He enjoyed blacksmithing, craft beer and was a talented voice over actor and videographer.








He was preceded in death by his father, Barry Boman; maternal grandparents, Esko and Evelyn Adamson; and paternal grandfather, Clifford Ackerson.

Bryan is survived by his daughter, Riley Boman; his mother, Mary DeGraw and husband, Gary, of Carl Junction; a sister, Hailey Murphy (Andre) of Kansas City, Missouri; two stepbrothers, John DeGraw (Andrea) of Canton, Ohio and David DeGraw (Samantha) of Carl Junction; his fiancé, Tracy Sneed and her daughter, Kadence, of Carl Junction; paternal grandmother, Kathy Ackerson of Seneca, Missouri; as well as a host of other family and friends.

Funeral services are 10:00 a.m. Friday, September 18, 2020 at St. Paul’s United Methodist Church of Joplin with Pastors Aaron Brown and Rick Flinn officiating. Those honoring his life by serving as pallbearers are Troy Sneed, Andre Murphy, John DeGraw, David DeGraw, Chass Williams and Phillip Moller. The family will receive friends on Thursday evening from 5-7:00 p.m. in the chapel of Hedge-Lewis-Goodwin Funeral Home. Memorials are being directed to St. Paul’s United Methodist Church c/o the funeral home. Arrangements are under the personal care and direction of Hedge-Lewis-Goodwin Funeral Home in Webb City, Missouri.
