Bobby D. Cover of Miami, OK passed from this life Thursday, September 17, 2020 at his home. He was 70.

Bobby was born July 30, 1950 in Cardin, OK to Benton L. and Vida G. (Jones) Cover. He had lived in the Picher, Miami area most of his life. He graduated from Picher – Cardin High School class of 1968. Bobby had worked for many years at Bingham Sand and Gravel in Treece, KS as a truck driver and for N.E.O. A&M College as a Custodian.

Bobby was preceded in death by his parents and a sister Retha Mager.

Survivors include the love of his life Patsy Sargent of Commerce, Oklahoma, 1 step- son Jeff Sargent and wife Lori of Commerce, OK, 2 step-daughters Tammy DeSilva and husband Larry of Miami, OK and Sheila Thomas and husband Matt of Quapaw, OK, 1 brother Jimmy Cover of Ottawa, KS and 5 sisters Barbara Mund of Miami, OK, Wanda Osborn of North Miami, OK, Phyllis Cover of Miami, OK, Kathy Hopper of Claremore, OK and Betty Meyers of Carthage, MO, 6 grandchildren and 8 great great grandchildren.

Graveside services will be 10:30 a.m. Monday, September 21, 2020 at Greenlawn Cemetery, west of Columbus, KS. Pastor Danny Showen will officiate. 

Trevor Thomas, Larry DeSilva III , Blake Sargent, Korey Wood, Ross Fretwell and Dillion Sherrick will serve as pallbearers. Richard Heatherly, Freddy Burnett, Greg Britton and Bill Kirksey will serve as honorary Pallbearers. Bobby will lie in state at the Paul Thomas Funeral Home Chapel in Miami, OK from 1:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. Sunday, September 20, 2020 for those who wish to sign the register book and pay your respect.
