Richard Stegall

Richard Allen Stegall, age 68, Joplin, passed away Saturday, September 12, 2020 at his home. Richard was born August 29, 1952 in Carthage, Missouri to the late Gary Stegall and Evelyn Chambers Stegall.

Richard graduated from Carthage High School in 1970, and had lived in the Joplin area all of his life. He worked for Mercy McCune-Brooks Hospital for several years as a purchasing agent before retiring. Richard loved to cook, read, write poems and paint. He will be missed by all who knew and loved him.

Survivors include his siblings, Brenda Skinner and husband, Jimmy, Kirk Stegall, Sun Dee Stegall, and Kent Stegall; nieces and nephews, Kolten, Kennadi, Amber, Kris, Kandis, and Brian; great-nieces and nephews Bralynn, Brennen, Aubrey, Ashton, Jayden and Brice; and several extended family members and friends.

A memorial service will be held at a later date.
