(From Parker Mortuary)Sydni Marie Brown, age 12, of Seneca, Missouri, passed away Tuesday, September 22, 2020, after the most courageous battle with cancer.
Sydni was born July 11, 2008, in Joplin, Missouri, to Nathan and Darci (Simpson) Brown. Sydni completed 6th grade at Seneca Schools, where she participated in cheerleading, and had just began her 7th grade year at the junior high.
Sydni was creative and loved art, listening to music, and spent countless hours on YouTube. She was happy, vibrant, full of life and she had the most beautiful smile. While she was only on this earth for a short time, Sydni had a positive impact on everyone she encountered and taught others more than they could ever teach her. The world lost a very bright light in her passing and she will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved her.
Sydni was preceded in death by her heavenly baby brother, Eli Blaine; and her grandfather, Mike Simpson.
Survivors include her parents, Nathan and Darci Brown; five siblings, Madison, Maci, Justus, Logan and Daxton; grandparents, Sandi Simpson, Cammy Goucher (Kavin), and Richard Brown; her loving aunts, uncles, and cousins; as well as a host of extended family and friends.
The family will celebrate Sydni’s life on Saturday, September 26, 2020, at 2:00 p.m. at Racine Christian Church. Pastor Ken Robinson will officiate. Visitation will begin at 1:00 p.m. at the church until service time. In lieu of flowers, please honor Sydni by donating to Children’s Cancer Research Fund or the American Childhood Cancer Organization.
Cremation arrangements are under the direction of Parker Mortuary, Joplin, Missouri.
