John Williams

John Boyd Williams, Jr., 78, Neosho, MO entered into rest on December 17, 2020, after a lengthy illness. John was born March 12, 1942 in Neosho to Violet (Cloud) and John Boyd Williams. He was a lifelong resident of the Neosho area. 

John served in the US Air Force. He had been employed as a car salesman, as a salesperson with Montgomery Wards and with the Hunte Corporation in Goodman, MO, and was the former owner of Baxter Bowl in Baxter Springs, KS.








John is survived by four stepchildren, Timothy Hendon of Neosho, MO, Robert LeRoy Craig of Neosho, Elizabeth Ann Adams and husband, Michael of Topeka, KS, and Katherine Jean Wymer and husband, Gayle of Haslett, TX; and numerous grandchildren, great grandchildren, great-great grandchildren and great-great-great grandchildren. John was preceded in death by one son, James F. Craig.

A private family memorial will be held, with inurnment to take place at Stone Cemetery near Diamond, MO at a later date.
