(From McQueen Funeral Home)Carroll Jean Miller, age 81, of Rocky Comfort, Missouri, passed away on Tuesday, June 25, 2024.
She was born December 5, 1942 in Rocky Comfort, Missouri, the daughter of Marcell and Lorene (Woods) Long, who preceded her in death. Also preceding her in death were her grandparents, Arvel and Loise Long.
Surviving are three children, Kim Steinmann, Tony Love, and Alison Miller. Also surviving are her sister, Colleen Slinkard and her husband Nick; three grandchildren, Quincy and Rachel Steinmann and Meghan Henderson; two great grandchildren, Ashton and Miles Henderson and her niece and nephew, Tonya Varner and Chris Slinkard.
Carroll attended Rocky Comfort School, graduating in 1960. She was saved at the age of nine by Hugh Higgs. She was employed at Fasco for several years. Carroll raised cattle on her farm at Rocky Comfort for many years. She had a special place in her heart for her many dogs and cats she loved and cared for.
Graveside services will be held at 10:00 A.M. Monday, July 1, 2024 at Rocky Comfort Cemetery in Rocky Comfort, Missouri, under direction of McQueen Funeral Home in Wheaton. Pastor Donnie Spears will conduct the service.
