(From Derfelt Funeral Home)The family of Tyler Dale Palmer of Columbus, KS is saddened to announce his sudden passing on June 19th, 2024 at the age of 37. Tyler was born on January 20th, 1987.
He will be lovingly remembered by his mom Robyn Acker, daughter Adela Rohner, grandmother Judy Christmas, grandmother Joyce Palmer, brother Tyrell (Kelsie) Palmer, sister Victoria Palmer, sister Tionna Clevenger, sisters Talia and Tameka Palmer, and girlfriend Billie Purdum. Along with many aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews, and friends.
Tyler was preceded in death by his dad, Tyrone Palmer, brother Tremayne Acker, cousin Ryan Harry, cousin Emmanuel Palmer, his beloved dog Sampson and too many others to name.
Tyler attended Spencer Elementary from Kindergarten through 6th grade. He then attended Columbus Schools until he transferred to Pittsburg Schools during high school where he attained his High School Diploma. Tyler helped in the family trash business from the time he was in a car seat in the truck with his dad. He taught himself how to play the guitar and loved showing his daughter how to play as well. He loved to go fishing and all animals. He loved his people deeply and wore his heart on his sleeve. If you were lucky enough to be one of his people then you already know.
A non-religious Celebration of Life will be held on July 6, 2024 at 6 pm at his brother's house at 132 West Forest Dr. Carl Junction, MO. Everyone is welcome to come and share a story of Tyler and hear some of his favorite songs.
