(From Ozark Memorial Park Crematory)Janet Reed passed away Sunday, June 16th 2024 quietly in her home surrounded by her daughter Krista and Janet's best friend Cheryl Tilton. Ms. Reed was born January 23, 1949 in Wheaton Mo. She was the daughter of Chester “Dee” Brand and Jerline Brand (Renyolds).
Her mother, father and brother Danny Brand preceded her in death.
She was a 1967 graduate of Carthage High School. She was employed for many years at Ducommun Labarge Electronics.
She was married to Keith A Downey for 17 years; they had 3 children together.
Survived by Jade Allen Downey, Nixa Mo and Krista Maxine Fletchall Joplin Mo. Three grandsons Garrett, Cody and Gage. Three great grandchildren, Jackson, Hunter and Wednesday Weaver.
Services will be held at a later date at Ozark Memorial Park Cemetary.
