(From Bath-Naylor Funeral Home)Thomas Clay Miller, 77, of Girard, KS, died June 14, 2024 at the Cass County Regional Medical Center in Harrisonville, MO.
He was born July 31, 1946 in Gardner, KS the son of Samuel and Rose Irene Stout Miller. He had been a resident of Girard for over 40 years.
Mr. Miller was a Vietnam War veteran serving in the United States Army.
He married Joyce Mitchell on May 23, 1964 in Shawnee, KS and she survives at the home in Girard, KS.
Mr. Miller had worked as a volunteer with meals on wheels’ organization.
Survivors in addition to his wife Joyce of the home include one daughter Jessica M. Miller of the home, one son James O. Miller and his wife Julia of Joplin, MO, one sister Lonna Miller of Oklahoma and one brother Ray Miller and his wife Georgie of Wichita, KS, five grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents and two daughters Robin and Barbra and several brothers and sisters.
Memorial services will be 10 am Tuesday, June 25, 2024 at the Bath-Naylor Funeral Home & Crematory, 522 S. Broadway in Pittsburg, KS, with Pastor Duane Elmore, officiating. Condolences may be left at our web site www.bathnaylor.com.
