(From Bennett-Wormington Funeral Home)Cathy Michael, 70, of Monett, Missouri was called home to Heaven on Wednesday June 26, 2024 while at her home in Monett. She was born in Freistatt, Missouri on August 5, 1953; the daughter of the late Raymond and Irene (Gilden) Baumann Sr. She was united in marriage on June 11, 1982 in Monett, Missouri to Roland “RP” Michael; he preceded her in death on April 26, 2018.
She was a retired beautician and a member of the Monett VFW Auxiliary.
Cathy is survived by one daughter: Tish Anderson and her husband Jeremy of Monett; six grandchildren: Austin, Brooke, Jeremiah, MacKenzie, Lance and Tucker; five great-grandchildren: Zoey, Spencer, Carter, Conner and one on the way; and two sisters: Elizabeth Kelley of Webb City, Missouri and Cora Baumann of Cassville, Missouri.
She was preceded in death by her parents Raymond Sr. and Irene; husband RP; three brothers: James Baumann, Charles Baumann, and Raymond Baumann Jr. and two sisters: Marie Baumann and Mary Ann Wormington.
Memorial services for Cathy are being held on Sunday June 30, 2024 at 2:00p.m. with visitation to follow until 4:00p.m. at the Monett VFW in Monett, Missouri.
Memorial donations in Cathy’s name may be made to the Monett VFW auxiliary.
Arrangements have been entrusted to the care of the Bennett-Wormington Funeral Home in Monett, Missouri.
