(From Hedge-Lewis-Goodwin Funeral Home)Alice Faye McKinnis, 50, of Joplin, Missouri, formerly of Diamond, Missouri, passed away on Friday evening, June 14, 2024, in the comfort of her home.
She entered this life on May 1, 1974, in Webb City, Missouri, born to the union of the late Marion McKinnis, Sr. and Venita (Overby) McKinnis. She was raised in the Carthage and Diamond area and was a 1993 graduate of Diamond High School. Alice was a devoted homemaker throughout her life.
Her parents and one brother, Charles McKinnis, preceded her in death.
Alice is survived by her three children, Timothy James Powers, Larry Dean McKinnis, II and Caleb Lenlea McKinnis; one grandson, Axel; two siblings, Christina Wideman and Marion Dale McKinnis, Jr.; as well as a host of other family and friends.
A Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday, June 29, 2024 at Hootenanny Hideaway, 1699 W. Fairview Ave., Carthage, Mo 64836, from 3-6:00 p.m. Cremation arrangements are under the care of Hedge-Lewis-Goodwin Funeral Home in Webb City, Missouri.
