(From Housh-Goodwin Funeral Home)Jamie Lynn Holocker, 46, of Sarcoxie, Missouri, passed away Wednesday, June 19, 2024 in the comfort of her home, surrounded by her loving family.
Jamie was born on Saturday, April 8, 1978 in Yuba City, California to the union of Sherman and Alice (Cotton) Burruss. On September 28, 1996 she was united in marriage to Robbie Holocker, sharing twenty-seven wonderful years of memories. She and Robbie moved to Sarcoxie, Missouri in 2001.
In 2009 she and Robbie were called to pastor River of Life Church in Monett, Missouri, where she faithfully served as pastor for fifteen years. Jamie loved pastoring, studying the word, art, art crafting with children and grandchildren, being with her church family; as well as spending time with her family and friends. Jamie will truly be missed by those who knew and loved her.
2 Timothy 4:7-8: 7 I have fought the good fight, I have finished the race, I have kept the faith. 8 Finally, there is laid up for me the crown of righteousness, which the Lord, the righteous Judge, will give to me on that Day, and not to me only but also to all who have loved His appearing.
She was preceded in death by her grandparents.
Jamie is survived by her husband, Robbie Jay Holocker; children, Cobi Holocker and wife ,Kaitlyn, Ryan Holocker and wife, Alyssa, Ben Holocker, Maxx Holocker, Tracey Simrell, and son-in-law, Lee Simrell, all of Sarcoxie; six grandchildren; parents, Sherman and Alice Burruss of Sarcoxie; and brother Sherman Burruss, Jr., and wife, Amy, also of Sarcoxie; father-in-law and mother-in-law, Dave and Jeannette Holocker, of Madera, California; brothers-in-law, James Holocker and wife, Lyndsi, of Hanford, California and Johnny Holocker and wife, Gosha, of Fresno, California; several nieces and nephews; her church family; as well as a host of other family and friends.

Funeral services for Jamie are 6:00 p.m. Saturday, June 29, 2024 at River of Life Church in Monett, Missouri, with pastors Robbie and Jamie Holocker officiating. Burial will be 9:00 a.m. Monday, July 1, 2024 at Sarcoxie Cemetery.
Those honoring her life by serving as pallbearers are Cobi Holocker, Ryan Holocker, Ben Holocker, Max Holocker, Sherman Burruss, Jr., and Lee Simrell. Visitation will be Friday evening from 5-7:00 p.m. at the funeral home. In-lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be directed to River of Life Church of Monett in care of the funeral home.
