(From Fohn Funeral Home)Rozella Mae "Rose" Campbell, age 95, of Strafford, Missouri passed away on June 25, 2024.
She was born on January 8, 1929, in Arkansas City, Kansas the daughter of Murray and Pearl (Ferrar) Sparks. On December 27, 1950 she was united in marriage to Arlin "Al" Campbell, who preceded her in death on November 6, 2017. Also preceding her in death were her parents; a grandson-in-law, Carlos Alonzo; a brother, Norman Sparks and two sisters, Noralee Littrell and Delores McGuire.
Survivors include a son, Murray Campbell and his wife Rachél of Neosho, Missouri; two daughters, Vickie Klubek and her husband Brian of Murphysboro, Illinois and Andra Florer of Strafford, Missouri; 11 grandchildren and 14 great grandchildren.
Rose grew up and attended school in Arkansas City, Kansas graduating from Arkansas City High School. She was a stay-at-home Mom before becoming employed by the Jefferson County, Colorado School System as head cook. Rose enjoyed the simple things in life – crocheting, sewing, tending to her garden, and casting a line into waters while fishing. She was a member of the Cassville United Methodist Church. Rose will be missed greatly by those who knew her.
Graveside services will be held at 11:00 A.M. Tuesday, July 2, 2024 at Sparks Cemetery in Butterfield, Missouri, under direction of Fohn Funeral Home in Cassville. Chaplain Jeff Baird will conduct the services.
The family will receive friends from 9:00 until 10:00 A.M. Tuesday at Fohn Funeral Home in Cassville.
Contributions may be made to American Kidney Fund in memory of Rose.
