(From Ozark Funeral Home)Lois Frye, 80, of Southwest City, MO, entered Heaven’s Gates on Sunday June 9, 2024.
Born December 10, 1943, to Teddy and Dorothy (Tremain) Randall, she was united in marriage on December 26, 1962, to Danny Frye.
Lois was preceded in death by her husband Danny, parents Teddy and Dorothy, infant daughter Danelle Lynn, sister Betty and brothers Teddy and Jack.
Lois is survived by son Danny Russell and daughter-in-law Shana, daughters Danae Louise Hardy and Dana Rae, honorary children John and Connie Carter, grandsons Drew, Dalton, Derek and Charley, granddaughter Dani, and by many beloved nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews and a host of friends and extended family.
After many years as a homemaker, Lois worked at Decatur State Bank and at the Southwest City Clerk’s office before retiring. Up to her death, she continued to enjoy traveling with her family, looking out on the farm she and Danny built and spending time with her friend, Judy Pendergraft.
Funeral Service will be held at 10:00 am on Thursday, June 13, 2024, at the First Baptist Church, Southwest City, Missouri. Visitation will be held Wednesday, June 12, 2024 at the Ozark Funeral Home, Southwest City Chapel. Final Resting Place, Southwest City Cemetery, Southwest City, Missouri.
In lieu of flowers the family requests contributions to the Missouri Baptist Children’s Home.
