Herbert P. Reynolds was born Sept. 9, 1931 in McDonald County, Missouri to Henry P. and Dorothy L. (Drake) Reynolds. He entered into rest following a short illness in Joplin, Missouri at the age of 87.
Herb was a lifelong area resident and was a homebuilder, building many residential homes in the southwest Missouri. He enjoyed watching his cattle and attended the Abundant Life Assembly of God Church in Neosho.
Herb and Betty (Cummings) were married in 1950 at McDonald County, Missouri and she survives. Additional survivors include his three children, Zandall Reynolds, Harlan (Danielle) Reynolds and Neva Hoffman, all of Neosho; seven grandchildren; thirteen great grandchildren and six sisters, Ella Mae (Don) Smith, Carthage, Ruth Long, Florida, Lucille (J.D.) Boyd, Neosho, Jean (Perry) Baublitz, Aurora, Joyce (Jim) Malone, Seneca and June (Ted) Lewis, Carthage.
He is preceded in death by a son, Leland Dale Reynolds, his parents, six brothers and two sisters.
