Jerry Price, age 86, of Fairview, Missouri, passed away Saturday, March 9, 2019 at his home.
He was born September 17, 1932 in Fairview, the son of Victor and Katherine (Forsyth) Price. In November, 1965 he was united in marriage to Winona (Shirley) Cline, who preceded him in death in 2005. Also preceding him in death were his parents; two sons, Mark Gaughan and Steven Kloss; one daughter, Shelley Duncan; a granddaughter, Joanna; two brothers, Hugh Gene Price and Danny Price and three sisters, Verla Mae Pate, Nancy Lou Daugherty and Donna Fairchild.
Surviving are two sons, David Gaughan of San Diego, California and Danny Gaughan and his wife Sharon of Vancouver, Washington; three daughters, Lisa Ramirez and her husband Danny of Texas, Patti Ethridge of Nixa, Missouri and Teresa Loncarich of Fairview, Missouri; one sister, Frankie Kimbrough of Drexel, Missouri; thirteen grandchildren; twenty-six great grandchildren and three great-great grandchildren.
Jerry was a lifelong resident of Fairview, where he graduated from high school. From 1948 until 1952 he served in the United States Navy. Most of his life was spent as a grinder machinist from which he retired. Some of his favorite pastimes were woodworking, fishing, bird hunting and training dogs.
Services will be held at 11:00 A.M. Wednesday, March 13, 2019 at McQueen Funeral Home in Wheaton, Missouri. Chaplain Roger Flint will conduct the services. Burial with military honors will be at Dice Cemetery in Fairview.
The family will receive friends from 5:00 until 7:00 P.M. Tuesday at McQueen Funeral Home in Wheaton.
A dinner will be held following graveside service at the Fairview Hammons Center
