Kay Link

Kay E. Link, age 65, of Diamond, Mo passed away on Thursday, March 14, 2019 at her home. Mrs. Link was born on March 28, 1953 in Granby, MO., to the late Alva and Edna Faye (Greib) Morgan. She was a lifelong resident of the area and was previously employed with Pillsbury/General Mills and was a member of the Zion Word Church in Anderson.

On October 25, 2008, she was united in marriage to Barry Link in Neosho, MO. She enjoyed painting, being outdoors, camping, fishing, and being with her grandchildren.

Survivors include her husband, Barry Link, of Diamond; two sons, Rusty McDermott, and his wife, Jennifer, of Granby, and Shane McDermott, and his wife, Lisa, of Diamond; two daughters, Alecia Rickett, and her husband, Jack, of Anderson, and Holly Brown, and her husband, Fred Sr., of Panama City, FL; four brothers, Wayne Morgan, of Diamond, Carl Morgan, of Diamond, Raymond Morgan, of Kansas City, and Mike Morgan, of Joplin; seven grandchildren, Taylah McDermott, and her fiancĂ©, Nick Cope, Fred Brown Jr. and his wife, Tiara, Aubrey Thomas, and her husband, Colby, Dustin McDermott, Madison McDermott, Bailey Rickett, Adonna Brown, and Ty McDermott; and three great-grandchildren, Kinzer Cope, Amelia Brown, Frederick Brown III. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by one brother, Bob Morgan. 








Funeral services will be held on Monday, March 18, 2019 at 11:00 am at the Mason-Woodard Mortuary in Joplin with burial to follow at the Union Cemetery in Anderson, MO. The family will receive friends from 3:00 pm till 4:00 pm on Sunday, March 17th at the mortuary. Memorial donations may be made to the American Cancer Society Hope Lodge of St. Louis and may be entrusted to the mortuary.
