Larry Bryant

Larry Dean Bryant, age 67, Carl Junction, passed away on Sunday, March 24, 2019 at Freeman West Hospital in Joplin.

Larry was born February 17, 1952 in Pine Bluff, Arkansas, son of the late Henry Lathan Bryant and Emma Jane Murray Bryant. He grew up in Pine Bluff where he graduated from Pine Bluff High School He worked mainly with Tree Trimming companies for the majority of his adult life, working in Iowa, Illinois, Minnesota, and Missouri, retiring in September of 2018 from Wright's Tree Service as a manager.

Larry loved spending time with his family, especially his daughter and grandchildren. He enjoyed watching NASCAR, and was an avid Kansas City Chiefs fan. In his spare time he enjoyed putting jig saw puzzles together, and going to the Casinos.








In addition to his parents, Larry was preceded in death by an infant granddaughter, Lori; a brother, Henry Lathan Bryant, Jr. and an infant sister.

Survivors include his wife of 40 years, Nancy Bryant of Carl Junction; son, Larry D. Bryant, Jr. of Lincoln, Nebraska; daughter, Melissa K. Gorsegner and husband Scott of Deer River, Minnesota; grandchildren, Miranda Bryant Breazile of Lincoln, William David Gorsegner of Deer River; great-grandchild, Emerson Dean Aden; sisters, Wanda Iverson and husband Bruce, Beth Bryant both of Pine Bluff, and Briana McNeill and husband David of Royce City, Texas; several nieces and nephews.

Memorial service will be Saturday, March 30, 2019 at 2:00 p.m. in Parker Mortuary Chapel with Rev. Jeff D. Martin officiating.

The family will receive friends at Parker Mortuary following the service.

Cremation arrangements are under the direction of Parker Mortuary.
