(From Ozark Funeral Home)Patricia Ann Ledgerwood, 74, of Lanagan, Missouri, departed this life on Friday morning, August 7, 2026, at McDonald County Living Center in Anderson, Missouri. She entered this life on March 17, 1952, in Neosho, Missouri.
Ann was the only child born to the union of the late Woodrow and Grace Huffaker Morriss. She was a lifelong resident of Lanagan, Missouri, and graduated from McDonald County High School in 1969.
Ann spent many years serving others through her work. She was employed for several years at the Indian Creek Cove Restaurant and also worked at the Big Nickel. She later retired from the McDonald County Senior Center, where she served as a cook for more than twenty-five years. In addition to her work there, she served as a McDonald County Election Judge for more than fifty years and was a licensed EMT.
Ann enjoyed watching television, cheering for Cardinal baseball, and taking part in social activities at the Senior Center. Most of all, she loved attending her grandchildren’s sporting events and supporting them with pride. These were the times that brought her happiness and reflected the strong family bonds she treasured throughout her life.
Ann was a member of the United Methodist Women and the former Lanagan United Methodist Church. Her faith and fellowship were important parts of her life, and she valued the friendships and connections she made through her church and community involvement.

She is survived by her daughter, Melissa Turner and husband Shelby of Anderson, Missouri; two grandchildren, Hailey Malone and husband Patrick of Grove, Oklahoma, and Kyle Turner of Anderson; two great-grandchildren, Turner and Lainey Malone; a cousin who was more like a sister, Rebecca Simmons of Neosho, Missouri; as well as a host of other family members and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents, Woodrow and Grace Morriss.
Funeral services are 10:00 a.m. Tuesday, August 11, 2026 at Ozark Funeral Home in Anderson, Missouri, with Pastor Marilyn O’Brien officiating. Burial will follow at Lanagan Cemetery. Those honoring her life by serving as pallbearers are Shelby Turner, Patrick Malone, Kyle Turner, Ayden Cook, Seth Kirk and John DeMoss. The family will receive friends on Monday evening from 5-7:00 p.m. at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers memorials are being directed to the Lanagan Cemetery c/o the funeral home. Arrangements are under the care of Ozark Funeral Home in Anderson, Missouri.
