Lila Gollhofer

Lila M. (Kirley) Gollhofer, 94, Granby, died Feb. 16, 2015 at her home in Granby, peacefully in her sleep. 

Lila was born on her father’s birthday, Aug. 9, 1920 in Rapid City, South Dakota. She served in the U.S. Navy during WW II and then worked as a receptionist for the Campbell County school district in Gillette, Wyoming. She moved to the Granby area in 1977 from Wyoming and had been active in the community. She was a member of the Daughters of the Nile; Just-A-Mere Club; Gingham Girls, Granby Forum Club and Neosho Area Widow to Widow and a member of the Episcopal Church.

 Lila married Richard ‘Dick’ Gollhofer in September, 1946 and he preceded her in death in November, 1989. She is survived by two children, Shirley K. Gollhofer of Granby and Richard M. Gollhofer of Ulysses, Kansas; three grandchildren, Bonnie Gollhofer, Kayla Gollhofer and Erin Rohling and four great grandchildren.

GRAVESIDE SERVICE
Friday February 20, 2015, 2:00 PM at Sarcoxie Cemetery, Sarcoxie, MO.

The family will receive friends following the service at the Law Office of William Gollhofer in Sarcoxie, MO.
