Lanell Pierce, age 62, of Webb City, Mo. passed away at 12:05 p.m. Sunday, February 8, 2015 at Webb City Health and Rehab Center. Lanell was born April 18, 1952 in Stockton, California. She moved to the Joplin-Webb City area in 1997 from San Jose, California. Lanell was a Certified Nurse Assistant, working with National Healthcare in Joplin. She attended Central Christian Center in Joplin.
Lanell was a loving mother to her son Mark Pierce of Everton, Mo. Additional survivors include three brothers, Ron Pierce, Joplin, James Pierce, Caldwell, Idaho, and Robert Pierce, Ft. Worth, Texas, and good friends, Lori Bicknell, and Mary Beedle, both of Joplin, Lanell’s wishes were to be cremated and her ashes buried in the Webb City Cemetery. Cremation arrangements have been entrusted to the Hedge-Lewis Funeral Home of Webb City, Mo.
