Bernice L. Adams, 89, Seneca, MO passed into eternal rest at 7:55 AM, Friday, February 6, 2015 at the Seneca House Nursing Home after an illness.
Bernice L. Adams was born January 13, 1926 in Seneca, MO the daughter of William (Bill) Hoff and Lena (Belt) Hoff. She lived in Seneca, MO most of her life expect the 26 years that her husband was in the service. Bernice was a loving wife, mother and grandmother. She was a faithful member of the St. Mary's Catholic Church, St. Mary's Alter member and a member of the V.F.W Auxiliary post 6363.
Bernice L. Hoff married Loyd J. Adams, March 26, 1946 in Neosho, MO and he preceded her in death February 16, 2001 after 54 years of marriage.
Survivors include three children, Mary Ann Nutting, Afton, OK, Jim Adams and Steve Adams both of Seneca; 8 grandchildren and 9 great-grandchildren. Bernice was also preceded in death by one son John Adams March 26, 2013.
Mass of a Christian burial will be held at 10:00 AM, Monday, February 9, 2015 at the St. Mary's Catholic Church in Seneca with Rev. Patrick Teter officiating. Burial will be in the St. Mary's Catholic Cemetery, Seneca, with family members, Jim Adams, Steven Lee Adams, Rick Nutting, Chad Nutting, Clayton Shumaker and Brent Judd serving as pallbearers.
The family will receive friends from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM, Sunday, February 8, 2015 at the Campbell-Biddlecome Funeral Home, Seneca.
In Lieu of Flowers Memorial Contributions can be made to the St. Mary's Catholic Cemetery Fund in care of the Campbell-Biddlecome Funeral Home, PO Box 380, Seneca, MO 64865.
