Jessie Reynolds

Jessie Colleen Reynolds, age 75 of Joplin, passed away at 11:10 a.m. on Thursday, February 19, 2015 at Freeman West Hospital after an illness of several years.

Born December 15, 1939 in Joplin, she was the daughter of the late John Douglas Lacey and Phyllis Cordelia Johnston Lacey, and lived in Joplin most of her lifetime. A homemaker and mother, she had also worked at American Laundry, Vogel’s T-Shirt in Galena and Howard Johnson’s Motel. Colleen was a Baptist.

On July 22, 1983, she married Robert E. (Bobby) Reynolds at Chillicothe, MO. He preceded her in death on March 9, 2011. A son, Terry Andrews; grandchild, Lacey Lansaw; brother, Bobby Lee Richardson; and sister, Jane Geyer also preceded her in death.

Survivors include six children, Christina Hayes and husband Wesley, Cheryl Long and husband Harry, Robert Andrews and wife Michelle, Belinda Lansaw and husband Rick, all of Joplin, John Andrews and wife Lisa of Calimesa, CA, Keith Andrews and wife Roselind of Joplin; 17 grandchildren, Shelly Hayes, Sam and Nick Becker, Alex and Arica Lansaw, Jessica Forcum, Reba and Grace Andrews, Kyle Hance, Tyler, Megan, Kattie, Kayle, Miley and Trever Andrews, Matthew and Crystal Corp; six great-grandchildren, Alex Cole, Wesley Hayes, Terry Shuey, Matthew Hayes, Isaiah Shuey and Lacey Wilson.

Graveside services will be held 11:00 a.m. Monday at Ozark Memorial Park Cemetery with Alvin Kirk, minister officiating. Family members will serve as pallbearers. The family will receive friends from 6:00 to 7:00 p.m. Sunday.
