Ada Ruth Speights, age 90, Joplin, passed away at 10:10 a.m. Thursday, February 5, 2015 at a local nursing center after an illness.
Ada was born November 9, 1924 and had lived in Joplin most of her life.
A graveside is planned for Wednesday at 1:00 p.m. at Mount Hope Cemetery, Independence, Kansas. Rev. Bob Simon will officiate.
Arrangements are under the direction of Parker Mortuary.
