Dickie W. Ellis, 63, Seneca, MO, passed into eternal rest February 25, 2015 at Baptist Integris Hospital in Oklahoma City after an illness.
Dickie Waye Ellis was born June 22, 1951 in Neosho, MO the son of Charles and Emma (Roark) Ellis. Dick was a lifelong Seneca resident. He was a 1969 graduate of Seneca High School. He formerly worked for Farmers Chemical in Galena, the former BF Goodrich Plant in Miami and he owned and operated D&L Refrigeration in Seneca. Dick was a member of the Seneca Full Gospel Church.
Survivors include his companion, Melanie Samuel, Seneca; one brother, Larry Ellis and wife Kathie, Claremore; one sister, Janet Nesvold, Seneca; step-son, Blake Samuel and wife Amanda, Joplin; grandchildren, Noah and Hendrix Samuel; Nieces and Nephews, Dana Williams and husband Sean, Claremore, Michael Ellis and wife Kori, Fort Lauderdale, FL, Rob Nesvold and wife Angela, Seneca and Brandon Nesvold and wife Stephanie, Seneca; 7 great-nieces and 3 great nephews and a host of extended family and friends.
Funeral services under the personal direction of Campbell-Biddlecome Funeral Home, Seneca were Saturday, February 28, 2015 at the Funeral Home Chapel with Truman Brady officiating. Burial was in the Seneca Cemetery with Rob Nesvold, Brandon Nesvold, Craig Hall, Bryan Hall, Bobby Kuhn, Brian Mitchell, Doug Malone and Tony Smith serving as pallbearers. Honorary pallbearers were Michael Ellis, Sean Williams, Jim Holloway, Bill Irvin and Randy Keener.
