Marilyn Blystone

Marilyn Kay Blystone, 75, Carthage, passed away Wednesday, February 11, 2015, at Mercy Hospital in Joplin. She was born on April 15, 1939 to Robert Scott and Opal Davis. She attended high school in Lawrence, KS, where she was also a member of the Trinity Lutheran Church. Marilyn then worked as a secretary at John Deere Farm and Home in Nevada. She also worked as a bookkeeper with her husband, Cecil Blystone, at Blystone Cabinets in El Dorado Springs, MO. She moved from El Dorado Springs to Carthage in December of 2013.

Marilyn is survived by her two children, Robin Anderson (Mark) of Carthage, MO, and Lee Anne Stukesbary of Nevada, MO; six grandchildren, Trenda Loomis, Heather Foster, Stefan Anderson, Shelby Stukesbary, Megan Blystone, and Zach Charbonneau; and eleven great-grand children, Sierra Masters, Chelsea Masters, Sydney Loomis, Ian Masters, Elijah Masters, Lillian Derry, Delannie Collins, Bo Anderson, Zaid Collins, Brady Anderson, and Colton Anderson.

She is preceded in death by her parents, and her husband Cecil Blystone, who passed on October 21, 2012.

Private family inurnment will take place at a later date at Taborville Cemetery in Taborville, MO.
