Louise Spencer

Louise Spencer, 85, Goodman, died February 7, 2015 in Neosho following a lengthy illness. 

She was born March 15, 1929 in Boulder City, the daughter of Eugene and Etta Virginia (Jordan) Daugherty. Louise lived most of her life in the area, was a homemaker and member of Buffalo Creek Baptist Church. In December, she was recognized as being the longest active member of the Neosho Area Widow to Widow Group. 

Louise married James Rodney Neal, Sr. and he preceded her in death. She then married Virgil Spencer on March 27, 1971 in Miami, Oklahoma and he preceded her in death in 1989. Louise is survived by four children, James Rodney and Cathy Neal, Neosho, Karen and Don DePung, Neosho, Mike Neal, Neosho, and Virginia and Gary Wilder, Neosho; one brother, Donald (Cleva) Daugherty, Carthage; sister-in-law, Carolyn Daugherty Price, Goodman; ten grandchildren; eight great grandchildren and four great great grandchildren. In addition to her parents and husbands, Louise is preceded in death by a son, Kenneth Neal.
