Debra “Debbie” L. Robertson-Rhode, 58, passed away at 8:18 a.m. Sunday, February 1, 2015 in Pittsburgh, KS.
Debra was born January 8, 1957 in Wichita, KS to Lee A. Robertson and Loretta McBride. Debbie attended Carthage High School and recently graduated from the University of Phoenix with a degree in psychology however, she was unable to proceed due to her illness. She was an avid Chiefs fan and enjoyed reading, fishing and making jewelry in her spare time. Debbie, in her younger years, attended First Church of the Nazarene in Carthage.
Debbie is survived by her companion Jerry Vaughan from Frontenac, KS, her mother, Loretta McBride of Carthage, two sons; Jacob Robertson of Frontenac, KS and Joshua Rhode of Lubbock, TX, one brother Mike “Michael” J. Robertson of Joplin, three sisters; Karen Boatwright and Lisa McBride both of Joplin and Sue Clay of Wichita, Ks, one grandson, two granddaughters, two uncles; Joe Robertson and Lynn Robertson, numerous Nieces and Nephews. Debbie was preceded in death by her father Lee A. Robertson in 2010 and one brother Douglas E. Robertson in 2009.
Services will be 10:00 a.m. Wednesday, February 4, 2015 at Ulmer Funeral Home Chapel. Visitation will be 6:00 to 7:00 p.m. Tuesday, February 3, 2015 at Ulmer Funeral Home. Burial will be in Oak Hill Cemetery. Contributions may be made to Debra “Debbie” Rhode Memorial Fund in care of the Ulmer Funeral Home. Online condolences maybe sent at www.ulmerfh.com.
