Terry Claud Sanders, 72, Neosho, died February 4, 2015 at Granby House, following a lengthy illness.
He was born June 8, 1942 in Valley Miners, MO, the son of Claud and Roberta (Fisher) Sanders. Terry graduated from Granby High School in 1961 and was an all-star basketball and baseball player. He served in the U.S. Army during Vietnam and moved to Neosho in 1977 from Granby. He worked as a plumber and pipefitter for Teledyne for 21 years and also built and remodeled houses. He later worked at the Neosho Golf Course for many years. He was a member of the VFW and former member of Calvary Baptist Church in Neosho.
Terry married Sharon Eutsler on June 8, 1961 at Granby and she survives.
He is also survived by a daughter, Terra Sanders of Neosho and numerous nieces, nephews and many friends. He is preceded in death by his parents and brother, Jerry Sanders.
Terry has been taken for cremation and services will be held at a later date.
