Cody Quinn

Cody Bryce Quinn, 23, of Noel, Missouri, departed this life on Friday, April 7, 2017, at Cox Medical Center South in Springfield, Missouri, from complications of injuries received in a swimming accident on June 24, 2015, which left him paralyzed.

Cody entered this life on September 28, 1993, in Siloam Springs, Arkansas, born to the union of Warren and Jody (Gill) Quinn. He was raised in Noel, Missouri and was a graduate of Parsons High School in Parsons, Kansas. Just prior to the accident, Cody enlisted in the United States Army and was looking forward to serving his country. He was an avid outdoorsman where his favorite activities were hunting and fishing. He also enjoyed baseball and was an excellent golfer. Cody was a wonderful big brother and cousin. He was extremely social and will be dearly missed by all of his family and numerous friends. He previously attended Honey Lake Baptist Church.

He was preceded in death by his mother, Jody Gill; grandmother, B.J. Gill; and his brother, Tanner Quinn.

Cody is survived by his father, Warren Quinn and wife, Mary, of Southwest City, Missouri; stepmother, Tanzi Quinn of Anderson, Missouri; five sisters, Alexa Friend, Kourtney Quinn, Tori Moore, Karma Moore and Katelynn Greathouse; five brothers, Keith Greathouse, Jacob Greathouse, Blake Friend, Cayden Wolf and Jonathan Moore; grandparents, Benton and Linda Gill of Goodman, Missouri, Tom Quinn of Noel, Missouri, Joyce Quinn of Tulsa, Oklahoma, Leona Lee and husband, Ed, of Cassville, Missouri and Thomas Marshall and wife, Lisa, of Seneca, Missouri; as well as a host of other family and friends.

Memorial services will be held on Saturday, April 15, 2017, at 10:00 a.m. at the First Christian Church in Anderson, Missouri, with Pastor David Munoz officiating.
