Margaret Morris

Margaret Helen Morris was born Aug. 28, 1935 in Wyandotte, Ottawa County, Oklahoma, to Earl and Helen (Davidson) Reynolds. She entered into rest on April 5, 2017 in Granby, Missouri, following a brief illness at the age of 81. 

 Margaret attended school in Pierce City, Missouri and Wichita, Kansas, graduating from Wichita. She had worked at SW Bell Telephone; Pacific Telephone Company and Mountain Telephone companies for ten years with perfect attendance. She had also worked at Wal-Mart in Bentonville, Arkansas for one year; at Granby Manufacturing for 14 ½ years and then worked as a caregiver for Oxford Home Health Care. She loved to read, bowling, camping and friends. She was a member of the Granby Gospel Tabernacle Church for over 40 years. 

 Margaret and Orville Morris were married on March 17, 1976 in Miami, Oklahoma and he preceded her in death in 2005. She is survived by five children, Karen Shields of Granby; Phyllis Lund of Chehalis, Washington; Steven Rakes of Granby; Desire Lantz of Ft. Smith, Arkansas and Douglas Beacom of Branson, Missouri; two brothers, Louis Reynolds of Albuquerque, New Mexico and Mike Reynolds of Wichita, Kansas; two sisters, Rosalee Slater of Wichita, Kansas and Jane Smith of Westboro, Missouri; twelve grandchildren and numerous great grandchildren. In addition to her husband and parents, she is preceded in death by a brother, John Reynolds. 

 Services for Margaret will be held on Tuesday, April 11, 2017 at 2 pm at the Clark Funeral Home Chapel in Granby, Pastor Seldon Harris will officiate. Interment will follow in the Granby Memorial Cemetery with family members serving as pallbearers. A time of visitation for Margaret will be held on Monday evening from 5 to 6 pm at the Clark Funeral Home in Granby. A memorial fund for expenses has been set up at the Clark Funeral Home and may be left at the funeral home.
