Dr. Jack Vincent Rhoads succumbed to pancreatic cancer on April 18, 2017 at the age of 58 years old.
Jack was a dedicated and excellent Internist. He served his community in his private practice, Midwest Internal Medicine, as a hospitalist for St. John’s Hospital, and as the Director of Medical Staff at Landmark Hospital. He was a loyal friend and loving father and husband, who always put others’ needs before his own. Jack will be remembered for his selflessness, unique sense of humor, thoughtfulness, and generosity toward everyone around him.
He is survived by his father, Tom, sister Diane; brothers, Mike, Mark, and Jim; wife, Mary K; sons and their wives, Tom, Mary, William, and Kathleen.
Jack is preceded in death by his mother, Mary Ann Rhoads.
Memorial visitation will be held on Saturday, April 22 from 3:00 pm to 5:00 pm at the mortuary.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to The Boys and Girls Club of Joplin, in care of the mortuary.
Cremation arrangements are under the direction of Parker Mortuary, Joplin, Missouri.
