Margaret “Diane” Carpenter passed away Friday, April 14, 2017 in Okmulgee, Oklahoma. Diane was born August 17, 1959 in Chicago, Illinois to Wallace Carpenter and Delila “Lasiter” Carpenter.
Diane was raised in Carthage, graduated from Carthage High School Class of 1978, worked at Big Smith Manufacturing and Justin Boots prior to moving to Oklahoma.
Diane is survived by three sisters: Sherry Carpenter and Cindy Carpenter, both of Carthage, and Holly Carpenter of Mt. Home, Idaho. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews, great nieces and nephews, and great-great nieces and nephews.
Diane is preceded in death by her parents and two brothers: Jerry and Billy Carpenter.
Memorial services will be held at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday, April 20, 2017 at Ulmer Funeral Home.
Arrangements are under the direction of Ulmer Funeral Home.
