Bruce Richardson Dunford, 80, of rural Wentworth, MO, passed away on Sunday, January 7, 2018, at his residence.
Bruce was born on October 21, 1937 in Huntington Park, CA, son of the late Grover Parkinson Dunford and Celia Mary (Richardson) Dunford.
For over forty years, Bruce was self-employed in the agriculture industry, transporting grain, milk, feed and other products to and from farms. He was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints in Monett.
On September 14, 1976, Bruce married Louise Dorothy Pannell in Mesa, AZ. She survives. Additionally, Bruce leaves two daughters, Debora Hogan and Julie Millett; thirteen grandchildren; and 15 great-grandchildren.
Bruce was preceded in death by his son, Jerry Jackson.
Funeral services will be held at 10:00 a.m. Thursday, January 11, 2018 at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints in Monett. Bishop Casey Leavitt will be officiating. Interment will follow in the Granby Cemetery, Granby, MO. Arrangements are under the personal care and direction of Buchanan Funeral Home, Monett, MO.
