Carroll D. Fox, 65, of Neosho, entered into rest on January 7, 2018 in Neosho, following a sudden illness.
Carroll was born August 24, 1952 in Dewitt, Arkansas, the son of Charles and Avis (Capps) Fox. Carroll graduated from Dewitt High School in 1970 and then from Arkansas State University, Jonesboro, Arkansas in 1974. The family moved to Neosho in 1994 and currently Carroll worked as a salesman for Ridley Block Operations. He was an active member of the Neosho United Methodist Church and currently served as a trustee. He was a member of the United Methodist Men, the Disciplers Sunday School Class and had taught several different Sunday school classes of various ages over the years. He was a devoted family man and especially devoted to his grandchildren.
Carroll and Dana (Cazort) were married on May 24, 1973 in Dewitt and she survives. Additional survivors include a daughter, Jill Rogers and husband, Kyle of Neosho; a son, Justin Fox and wife, Lindsey of St. Louis; two grandchildren, Nathan and McKenzie Rogers of Neosho and one to be born in June, 2018; his mother in law, Margaret Cazort of Dewitt; sister in law, Kathy Cazort; sister and brother in law, Karen Fisher and husband, Clifford; two nieces, Amy Fischer and Meghan Rinehart; two nephews, Clay Fisher and Stephen Cazort and two great nieces and a great nephew. He is preceded in death by his parents and brother in law, Ricky Cazort.
Services will be held on Thursday, January 11, 2018 at 10 am at the Neosho United Methodist Church, Pastor Mitch Jarvis will officiate. Interment will follow in the Banner Cemetery, Goodman. The family will receive friends Wednesday evening from 5 to 6:30 pm at the Clark Funeral Home, Neosho.
