Lila Forest

Lila Louise Forest, age 77, of Verona, Missouri, passed away Wednesday, January 10, 2018 at her home.

She was born February 28, 1940 in Broken Arrow, Oklahoma the daughter of Ralph Claud and Alma Ruth (Rice) Clark.

On August 24, 1963 she was united in marriage to Weaver L. Forest and to this union a son, Weaver Lee Forest was born on July 2, 1970.

Louise was a 1957 graduate of Broken Arrow High School. She received her Masters Degree from Northeastern Oklahoma University in 1967. In June 1965 she moved to Missouri where she taught elementary school at Verona for thirty-one years. She dedicated her life to her school children and the outside activities with her sheep, goats and cattle.

Besides her husband of fifty-four years and son, she is survived by two sisters, Pat Craig of Spring, Texas and Brenda Clark of Edmond, Oklahoma and one brother, Dr. Larry Clark of Joplin, Missouri.

Preceding her in death were her parents and one brother, Dr. Nile Clark.

No services are scheduled at this time. Cremation arrangements are under direction of Fohn Funeral Home in Cassville, Missouri.
