(From Ozark Funeral Home)Mrs. Alcy Ellen Williams, 82, of Neosho, Missouri, departed this life on Monday, February 15, 2021, while at Freeman Hospital West in Joplin, Missouri, after a lengthy illness.
She was preceded in death by her parents, James and Ella (Brixey) Parmalee; a son, Bruce Williams; and a sister, Nancy Rowe.
Alcy is survived by her five children, Alicia Brock (Teddy) of Neosho, Martin Williams of Neosho, Cindy Talbot (Robert) of Neosho, Sonja Williams (James) of Waynesville, Missouri and Beth Hatcliff of Neosho; eleven grandchildren; twenty great grandchildren; three sisters, Caroll Wilkerson, Pam Cox and Constance Noel all of Seymour, Missouri; a brother, Jerry Parmalee of Atlanta, Georgia; as well as a host of other family and friends.
She moved to Neosho, Missouri, 67 years ago and raised six children alone. She retired from Talbot Wire Industries. She has always been an avid reader, enjoyed puzzles, liked to crochet and play bingo. Alcy loved her family and friends dearly.
A visitation will be held on Saturday, February 20, 2021, from 2-4:00 p.m. in the Anderson Chapel of the Ozark Funeral Homes.
