Donald Lee Rose, 73, passed away Monday, February 15, 2021 at Carthage Health & Rehab. Donald was born July 25, 1947 in Kimball, WV to Homer and Laura (Green) Rose.
He was a longtime resident of Jasper County and a machinist. He worked for F.A.G. Bearings for 42 years and retired in 2013. He served in the United States Army during the Vietnam Era.
Donald was united in marriage to Peggy Rich on August 31, 1968 in Carthage; she survives.
Donald is survived by three brothers, Alvin Rose (Bonnie) of Portland, IN, Earl Rose (Ann) of Winchester, IN and Michael Rose of Newbern, TN; three sisters, Juanita Good (Mike) of Newbern, TN, Shirley Spears of Princeton, WV and Carolyn Adams (Anthony) of Dyersburg, TN.
Donald was preceded in death by his parents; one son, Steven Ray Rose (June 1979); one brother, Jeffery Lynn Rose and one sister, Sandra Honaker.
Visitation will be held from 1:00 p.m. to 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, February 20, 2021 at Ulmer Funeral Home. Services will immediately follow at 2:00 p.m. Burial will be at Oak Hill Cemetery.
