(From Simpson Funeral Home)Lewis M. (Uncle Lew) Sloniker age 62 of Joplin, Missouri passed away on Wednesday, February 24, 2021 at Barnes Jewish Medical Center in St. Louis, Missouri. He was born in Carthage, Missouri to Joseph Sloniker and Beverly (Cooper) Sloniker on January 9, 1959.
Lewis worked as a truck driver for most of his life.
He is survived by his fiancé, Geri Hamilton of Joplin; daughters, Madison Wynn and Christopher Ann (Chrissy) Cavanaugh; brothers, Stephen Sloniker and Philip Sloniker; sisters, Florence Sanders, Beverly Tandy, Phyllis Tuggle, Eleanore Follett, and Sare Brown.
Lewis was preceded in death by his parents, and 2 brothers, Samuel and Walter Sloniker. A visitation will be held on Tuesday, March 2, 2021 at Simpson Funeral Home in Webb City from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM.
