Deborah Spiva

Deborah Spiva, age 60, of Cassville, Missouri passed away Wednesday, February 17, 2021 at her home.

She was born June 2, 1960 in Monett, Missouri, the daughter of Jim and Leta (Davis) Darity. 

On June 25, 1983 she was united in marriage to Ernest Lee “Ernie” Spiva in Noel, Missouri, who preceded her in death on August 16, 2015. Also preceding her in death were her parents.

Surviving are two sons, Nathan Spiva of Cassville, Missouri and Rick Spiva of Exeter, Missouri; two brothers, Gary Darity and his wife Deann of Wheaton, Missouri and Larry Darity and his wife Debbie of Noel, Missouri; two sisters, Sue Davidson and her husband Gene of Marionville, Missouri and Vicky Leach and her husband John of Grove, Oklahoma and one grandson Wylee Spiva.

Moving to Cassville thirty years ago from Noel, Missouri, Deborah was a sanitation worker at Mercy Hospital Cassville. She liked the outdoors, making crafts, reading and writing poetry.

A private memorial service will be held at a later date. Cremation arrangements are under direction of Fohn Funeral Home in Cassville.
