Patsy Chester

Patsy L. Chester, 79, Seneca, MO passed into eternal rest February 24, 2021 at Freeman West Hospital after an illness.

Patsy Louise Surridge was born August 18, 1941 in Neosho, MO the daughter of William Robert and Nellie Fern (Moreland) Surridge. Patsy was a lifelong area resident. She was a graduate of Wyandotte High School. She loved writing songs, arranging flowers and home decorating. Patsy worked for many years with the Spring River Pulling Association. She was a member of the Swars Prairie Baptist Church.

Patsy Louise Surridge married Marvin Chester June 19, 1964 and he survives.

Additional survivors include a host of nieces, nephews, extended family and church family.

Patsy was preceded in death by her parents, two sisters, Carolyn McKibben, Anna Henry and one brother Paul Surridge.

The family will receive friends from 6 to 7 pm, Friday, February 26, 2021 at the Campbell-Biddlecome Funeral Home, Seneca, MO.



Funeral services under the direction of Campbell-Biddlecome Funeral Home, Seneca, MO will be held at 2:00pm, Saturday, February 27, 2021 at the Swars Prairie Baptist Church with Rev Jarel Burnside officiating. Burial will be in the Swars Prairie Baptist Cemetery with Trent Wilson, Seth Wilson, Lanae Shockley, Devin Chester, Dewayne Chester and Roger Chester serving as pallbearers. Honorary pallbearers will be Troy Surridge, Jerry Chester, Donald Chester, Daryl Chester, Chalise Shockley and David Belt.
