Harold Robinson

(From Parker Mortuary)

Harold F. Robinson, was born on August 16, 1942 in Joplin, Missouri, second son of Sidney and Ruth (Dyer) Robinson. He passed from this life on April 3, 2021 following several years of declining health due to a progressive degenerative disorder.

He spent most of his adult life in over the road sales related work. His leisure time was spent in activities that allowed him to always have sporting dogs he could chase through the fields and the woods of Missouri and Arkansas.

When he could no longer be that physically active, he became interested in building and shooting black powder guns with a group of friends.

Harold is survived by his wife of fifty-nine years, Sandy (Alumbaugh) Robinson; his son, Shane Robinson (Lisa Wood) of Joplin; his daughter, Krista Kirk (Mike Kirk), of Wyandotte, OK; and grandson, Mason Williams of Joplin. His parents, Sidney Robinson, Jr., his mother, Ruth Robinson, and his brother, Sidney Robinson, III, preceded him in death.

Due to COVID-19 concerns, an outdoor Celebration of Life will be held on Sunday, April 11, 2021 at 2:00 p.m. at the large pavilion in Schermerhorn Park, Galen, KS. The family requests casual dress and it is not required for those in attendance to wear a mask.
