(From Parker Mortuary)Beverly Gail Hawkins, age 53 of Joplin, Missouri, passed away on Wednesday, April 24, 2024 at Mercy Hospital in Joplin following and extended illness. Beverly was born on August 25, 1970 to Joe Edward and Jeanette (Dittmyer) Yokley in Bartlesville, Oklahoma.
Beverly was a bright and talented person, always serving others with a giving heart. She received her Master’s in Business degree and found her place being a “Beverly of all trades”. Beverly had a passion for antiques, enjoying the fun of selling and buying for many years. She was a talented artist, creating her own jewelry pieces and selling them online. However, her true joy was raising her girls.
Beverly is survived by her mother, Jeanette Yokley of Grove, Oklahoma; twin-daughters, Peyton and Riley Hawkins of Joplin; brother, Patrick Yokley of Grove and a host of extended family and friends.
She is preceded in death by her father, Joe Edward Yokley.
A celebration of life will be held at a later date. Cremation arrangements are under the direction of Parker Mortuary, Joplin, Missouri.
